Hm, I had a scary thought. What if there's a sun on the other side of this world creature and this hole is gonna burn the vast majority of all the creatures below? That membrane is like their ozone.

Thinking the same.. I may be wrong, but it looks looks like the world creature will finally start the surface wipeout by exposing it to radiation
