Confident, aren't you Saturno. She might not need you as much as you think she does, given that you are a "proof of concept". In other words now that Alpha has seen its possible for a demon to become a psuedo human, whats to stop her from killing you, eating and trying again with someone more co-operative? Hell, if Vinchy can figure out eyes and skin, which is more than possible with some chunks of recently deceased Saturno, then your usefulness could come to a swift and unpleasant end.

Alpha is half human. Unfortunately she was born deformed. Humans can't shape shift. Alpha can't shape shift.

Right here: http://demoneater.thecomicseries.com/comics/774
and the page after it. The parents? A mystery for now.
Here's a theory.

I predict a fight between Saturno and Vinchi. Then, a "fight" between Saturno and Alpha, but in stead of killing and eating Saturno, she simply overpowers and banishes him.
The title of the story is Saturno the Demon Eater. Either this name is self-proclaimed or given to Saturno by a community that recognizes the creatures of his species as demons. Humans perhaps? Alpha is self-conscious. She's almost out of time. The humans, they're so intelligent and clever. This otherworld can be so grotesque. The benevolent land creature cannot be defeated. Her only choice is to live with the humans, right? Can she achieve her dream in 20 years? She'll trust Saturno because she needs to. He will want to betray her primarily because he is 'losing his nerve' and doesn't want to eat the rest of the group. His feelings towards Alpha will probably be revealed closer to the end of the story.
Vinchi, one of Alpha's most recent disciples and easily her most loyal. He realizes Alpha has not chosen him. She will not mate with him. She will not take him to the human world to be with her. The jealousy will cause him to lash out at Saturno and Saturno will defeat him. Then, regretful for eating his mentor and running out of time himself, Saturno will hastily turn his attention towards Alpha in an attempt to overpower her and take on the world creature before it eats everything. Her rage will frighten him. The sheer strength of her abilities and the knowledge of her species will make her a strong foe. Saturno will regret his decision to fight and lose his first fight versus Alpha. As we know him to be alive as the narrator, depicted by the first few pages, he will survive the fight. Its still a bit too early to tell what might happen after that.

Normally, I would advise against such a risky move. But he needs what I call a "wedge" to break up this chain of events. Alpha is controlling everything too perfectly and this is a great chance to throw that all off track.
Saturno is the best result she's had so far, and apparently she does actually care for him as a "person." So his choice is really one of the best he could ostensibly make.
Assuming Demon Eater isn't a cliche story about a demon becoming human (the story has been anything but cliche, so I think that's a fair assumption) I can make the logical jump that Saturno won't kill Alpha because he will have no need to do so after some fortuitous encounter. But on the other hand, Alpha may not want to allow what is essentially still a demon to become stronger than her. Thus, we have a stalemate, where she might gain the upper hand and injure Saturno. Perhaps Saturno will then seek refuge in the same place he always has in the past - the human world. Then we will see additional development of his personality, intellect, and perhaps even some substantive encounters with humans.
