Saturno, Venus and Alphas' rooms are upstairs. It's nice to add that little detail that he's got to go down to see everyone. I admit I'm not consistent with the stair design. I used gold watercolor paint for the stairs this page. OOOo gold fun new paint...

EDIT Reply to everyone: I love it that I can convey so many character theories with out words. :3

Does Alpha think she went too far? She looks regretful...

No, I think she realized that our stupid little baby was crying >:3

No one else seems to be able to cry, as it is a mostly human function. Alpha, who strives to be human, doesn't even have a head, let alone the ability to cry. She is either excited, afraid or frustrated at herself for almost killing the most human demon we have. Killing him could be a major setback, and we can't have that now can we!

Your theory does make sense...

Alternatively, she realized that casually murdering someone whose only crime is a moment of being a pissed off, frustrated, emotional teenager, ran off, then regretted it and came back, is not a very human thing to do

There could be a lot of reasons for flinching.

1) She damaged a very good mimickry of a human. It's like breaking a brand-new phone.

2) She temporarily regressed toward her more primal instincts. Instead of thinking through a form of punishment, her passion resulted in going straight to "eat his face." This could throw her for a loop as she tries to figure out if anything else she's done up to this point has been done out of instinct.

3) Perhaps she's always wanted that really well-sculpted head of his, but desired to create it for herself. She absent-mindedly began the process of incorporating his face and halted further action.

Long story short: she's probably suffering an internal struggle of some kind.

It's always... unsettling when a headless entity starts to feel some sort of emotion.
Like... how is it expressed?

I'd say she looks frightened. Not of Grey but her own anger, I think.

I support the tear theory.
