End of chapter

The killing spree has ended with Saturno wanting to return to the club. I on purposely just left the images there. Saturno remembers being there.

There could be many reasons he would come back. Often if you feed wild animals for a time, they will come back for free food.
Maybe he just became spoiled living the good life for three years. He perhaps has become a creature of habit and got used to coming when they called for dinner. Or he could actually like them and miss them? Oh wouldn't that be silly...

So the "hubris" comments. Yeah I write Saturno's character like that to a T. Sometimes you gotta write that with less-than-good-guy characters. He is the type of character that is timid and scared all the time until he gets something going for him, he builds himself up then crash. He has to start from scratch again(but not completely from scratch. He learns and adapts. It's not Pinky and the Brain.). For example, he lied to other creatures to get them to come to the wasteland with him, then the man eater happened. He thought he could mooch off of the human club, then he got fat. I hope I'm not shooting myself in the foot, putting out there a pattern in my main character.
With characters that are more serious natured.. it's nice to write them having periods of happiness even if it may be karma going against them.

By the way, just curious, are there any plans of possibly continuing Planet Closest to Heaven?

Well people have patterns of behavior so why wouldn't your character! It makes them more realistic.

I *love* it when characters show specific patterns. After all, that is what makes me empathize with them. :D

Yes, I was hoping something like this would happen, a return to the club in some way, not just wandering off to the next adventure. ;)

Oh please do not take comments about Saturno as criticism. I love the writing! I am loving the comic and your writing remains spot on as ever. Saturno is a great character who just sometimes make awful choices.

I like how you're developing his character, and how he might be having Emotions over the club.

You're developing an awesome story and I'm sure it will continue being awesome!
