I guess its not really an establishing character moment since we know he lies at this point, yet I think this was the moment that I first realized it was going to be a long lasting characteristic of him, and not just something he dropped quickly when he runs into the other main characters. This page did a lot for getting me further invested in him.
WOW! like "Beloss" said... that last page really strengthen a the kill or be killed characteristic I thought was fading away. "Grey seemed to be getting really soft for a little and it made me curious but NOW- it was all worth it getting this inner monolog surprise!!! OMO WOW will he ever become trusting a caing and learn sacrifice to be a good guy or... even better never but trick everyone including us readers!!!
